If you find content on Ravel Web Player (ravel.video) that you believe infringes your copyright, you can submit a copyright infringement report. We review all reports and will take appropriate action accordingly.

⚠️ Please note that you’re only able to submit a copyright infringement report if:

You are the copyright owner, or
You are an authorized representative of the copyright owner.

Sending a copyright infringement report

To submit a report, please fill out this form and send it to us at iprequest@lightweaveravel.com.

Please make sure that all the information you provide is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

What happens after a copyright infringement report is submitted?

After we receive a report, we review it to make sure it has all the required information and that the information provided is valid.

If we need additional information about your report, we may ask you to provide more details, such as:

Evidence of authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner, if applicable
Confirmation whether copyright exceptions, such as fair use or fair dealing, have been considered

We'll do our best to honor the preferred contact method indicated in the form. However, as we're required to maintain records of all communications related to the report, formal correspondence will generally be sent by email.

If we determine that the report is valid, and the video contains copyright infringement, we will remove the content in compliance with copyright law. We will also notify the content uploader about the content removal.

Upon getting notified about the content removal, the content uploader will have the opportunity to submit a counter-notice. If they do, we will review the counter-notice along with the information provided by the content uploader.

If we determine that the counter-notice is valid, we will notify you accordingly. If you believe the counter-notice is incorrect and that the content does infringe your copyright, you may file a case in the US federal court seeking a court order to prevent the content uploader from continuing to infringe your work.

If you decide to seek legal action, and you let us know that you have filed such a court case within ten to fourteen days of receiving the counter-notice, we will not reinstate the content.

What if my content was removed due to a false copyright infringement report?

If you receive an email notification from us about your content removal due to a copyright infringement report, and you believe that the content was removed in error, you can submit a counter-notice.

To do so, please fill out this form and send it to us at iprequest@lightweaveravel.com, or as a reply to the content removal notification that we sent to you by email.

We will review everything to ensure the information provided is valid. We may reach out to you to ask for further information or more substantial evidence. We are also required to inform the claimant who filed the copyright infringement report.

Decisions can take some time if additional review or analysis is required. If your counter-notice is valid, your content will be reinstated within 14 business days, unless the original rightsholder informs us that they have filed a court action.
